ABPh Certification Testing
Coordinated through Measurement Research Associates, Inc.
The American Board of Phlebology (ABPh) was founded to provide and maintain a certification exam in phlebology, to issue certificates to physicians passing the exam, and to offer a resource to the public for finding board certified phlebologists. Certification demonstrates that physicians have met rigorous standards of education, experience, and evaluation. In order to become board certified, a phlebologist must:
- Complete the requisite training or experience qualifications
- Meet the continuing medical education requisites
- Pass a certification examination

- Registration start date: 18 January, 2010
- Examination delivery window: 17–24 April, 2010

Computer-Based Testing
Obtain general information about computer-based testing and answers to frequently asked questions, as well as practice taking an exam using the computer-based test tutorial.
Scheduling
First-time test takers must create a Pearson VUE web account. Please note that account creation may require up to 24 hours. You will be notified by email when your account is activated. Appointments may be made up to one business day in advance.
After you schedule your test, Pearson VUE will send a confirmation letter listing your test date, your testing time, the address and phone number of the test center, and directions to the test center.
