Applications
Applications are no longer accepted at Pearson VUE testing centers. Applications MUST be submitted to the APA PRIOR to registering for the CPP/FPC exam. Choose one of the following submission options:
- E-mail applications to: apaexam@americanpayroll.org with a subject line that reads “CPP Application” or “FPC Application”
- Fax It to 210-224-5814, Attention: CPP Exam Application or FPC Exam Application
- Send via US Mail or Courier to:

Receipt of applications will be verified and candidates that pass the exam but do not submit a valid/completed application will not be entitled to use the CPP/FPC designation.
Test Scheduling
APA candidates may pay by credit card, electronic check or voucher via the internet and Call Center. Payment is not accepted at the Test Center. Please consult the APA Candidate Handbooks for additional instructions and forms.
