AppSense Certification Program
AppSense has developed a new Certification Program aimed at end users and partners who design, implement and manage AppSense solutions. The program has three levels, AppSense Certified Professional (ACP), AppSense Certified Specialist (ACS) and AppSense Certified Architect (ACA).
The AppSense Certified Professional and AppSense Certified Specialist are exam-based certifications and the AppSense Architect is an invite-only certification aimed at elite AppSense specialists.
Certifications
AppSense Certified Professional
The AppSense Certified Professional qualification is aimed at IT Professionals wishing to become AppSense Administrators. It demonstrates your competency in the four components of the AppSense Management Suite; Application Manager, Environment Manager, Performance Manager and Management Centre. It increases your importance to your employer in AppSense users and in Certified Solution Partners, and acts as a measure of your skill in AppSense environments. To achieve this qualification, you will need to pass the AppSense Certified Professional exam code APP-101.
- Recommended pre-requisite knowledge: The AppSense Certified Professional exam is not intended to be easy. It is intended to ensure that you have the level of skill required to implement and administer the AppSense Management Suite. It is recommended that prior to taking this exam you take the three day AppSense Professional level training course, have a good understanding of the AppSense installation documentation available with the products and have experience of working with the AppSense Management Suite.
- The exam consists of 55 questions to be completed in 65 minutes. These questions are multiple choice or drag and drop.
- The exam questions are based around understanding the functionality of the AppSense Management Suite, and installing, licensing and configuring the four components.
AppSense Certified Specialist
The AppSense Certified Specialist qualification APP-201 is aimed at Senior Consultants, Senior Administrators and Implementation and Troubleshooting specialists. It demonstrates in depth knowledge of the AppSense Environment Manager software.
- Pre-requisite: Candidates must pass both the AppSense Professional and AppSense Specialist exams to become an AppSense Certified Specialist.
- Recommended pre-requisite knowledge: It is recommended that prior to taking this exam you take the two-day AppSense Specialist level training course and have 3-6 months experience installing, configuring and troubleshooting AppSense Environment Manager.
- The exam consists of 50 questions to be completed in 65 minutes. These questions are multiple choice or drag and drop.
- The exam questions are based around knowledge and skill with installing, configuring and troubleshooting AppSense Environment Manager.
Scheduling
Before scheduling an AppSense examination, please review the AppSense NDA and Certification Terms. You will be required to accept the NDA (Confidentiality Agreement) immediately prior to commencing your examination; if you do not do so you will not be permitted to take the examination and you will not be issued with a refund. The examination is a ‘closed-book’ exam and AppSense does not permit the use of any course materials or study aids during the examination. You agree for Pearson VUE to provide your personal information to AppSense in order for AppSense to monitor, evaluate, process and record your participation in the examination and the certification program, and for AppSense to inform you about similar services which AppSense or its group companies provide that you may be interested in, unless you notify AppSense that you do not wish to receive this information.
