Avaya Credential Program

Avaya Credentials are designed to ensure individuals have the knowledge and skills to successfully sell, design, implement and maintain Avaya products and solutions that exceed customer expectations.

Earning an Avaya Credential requires completing specified competency requirements most often in the form of passing exams and / or assessment tests. Exams are offered globally through Pearson VUE Testing Centers. Assessment tests are available through the Avaya Learning Center.

Scheduling

New Exam Numbers

On October 17, 2011, exam numbers for Avaya Certified Implementation Specialist (ACIS), Avaya Certified Support Specialist (ACSS) and select Product Authorization (PA) credentials changed. These exam numbers no longer include decimal points and instead use Full Integer Numbers (E.G. exam number 6002.1 became 6002).

Exam numbers for Avaya Certified Specialist (ACS) exams (E.G. 132-S-709.2) remain the same until the exams retire.

This change makes remembering exam numbers easier as well as simplifies administration and delivery of multiple forms of an exam.

Avaya Credential Curriculum Maps on the Avaya Learning Center reflect the new exam numbers. Please reference the new exam number along with the exam title when making appointments for testing.

Appointments may be made in advance or on the day you wish to test, subject to availability. The exam/appointment time limit noted on Pearson VUE web pages reflects the exam testing time plus 15 minutes for the Avaya end-of-exam survey.

Avaya Credential exams are components of the Avaya Credential Program. The exams are computer-based assessments of knowledge, competencies, and skills related to disciplines such as Implementation and/or Maintenance and use a multiple choice format.
