CIW Certification Testing
CIW Candidates
Candidates who pass the examination requirements for a CIW track will receive an 8-1/2 by 11 inch CIW certificate suitable for display. The certificate includes the following information:
- Their name
- The CIW track in which they are certified
- The date they completed the requirements for that track
Candidates receive their CIW certificate by postal mail within 6 to 10 weeks after completing their CIW exam requirements. CIW certificates are sent from Austin, Texas, USA. Pearson VUE does not print or mail CIW certificates.
CIW certificates are awarded in the following eight tracks:
- CIW Foundations (requires exam 1D0-310)
- CIW Site Designer (requires exams 1D0-310, 1D0-320)
- CIW Application Developer (requires exams 1D0-310, 1D0-330)
- CIW Enterprise Developer (requires exams 1D0-310, 1D0-330, 1D0-340)
- CIW Server Administrator (requires exams 1D0-310, 1D0-350)
- CIW Internetworking Professional (requires exams 1D0-310, 1D0-360)
- CIW Security Professional (requires exams 1D0-310, 1D0-360, 1D0-370)
- CIW E-Commerce Professional (requires exams 1D0-310, 1D0-380)
Please note that the CIW Foundations is the only track which requires passing a single exam to receive a certificate. The seven specialty tracks require passing the CIW Foundations exam, plus the examination(s) for that track.
