EBU Written Exam 2023
In order to take part in the examination each candidate must have a personal account AND book the assessment through this website.
Important note:
The details in the mandatory fields on this site must correspond with the details as stated in the email "Book your exam with Pearson VUE" sent by the EBU (ebu@ebu.com) on 25 September 2023.
A candidate who already has an account cannot create a new account.
CREATE AN ACCOUNT
Enter your date of birth, email address and EBU CID number.
SIGN IN
Enter your username and your password.
I have forgotten my username
Step 1: Click on the "Forgot my username" link under the EBU logo.
Step 2: Complete the form and enter your first name, last name and email address.
Step 3: Answer the security questions.
Step 4: Check your inbox for the email sent by PearsonVUEConfirmation@pearson.com
Step 5: Click on the link and follow the instructions.
Step 6: Once sucessfully logged in, you will be asked to update your security questions as three security questions and responses are now required.
I have forgotten my password
Step 1: Click on the "Forgot my password" link under the EBU logo.
Step 2: Complete the form and enter your username, first name and last name.
Step 3: Check your inbox for the email sent by PearsonVUEConfirmation@pearson.com.
Step 4: Click on the link and follow the instructions for creating a new password.
Step 5: Once sucessfully logged in, you will be asked to update your security questions as three security questions and responses are now required.
Please note: Write your name with any diacritical marks (e.g. Č, ů, ř).
Should that be the case, enter your name without any diacritical marks.
I have forgotten:
- my username & password and/or
- the answers to the security question(s)
Step 1: Contact Pearson VUE customer service (UK) at 0845 250 5613. Opening hours: Monday to Friday 09:00-17:00 hrs. GMT.
Step 2: Provide the customer service agent the following personal details as stated in the email “Book your exam with Pearson VUE” sent by the EBU (ebu@ebu.com) on 25 September 2023.
- Name
- Email address
- Date of birth
Step 3: Check your inbox for the email sent by PearsonVUEConfirmation@pearson.com.
Step 4: Click on the link and follow the instructions.

Formats
Once you are logged in, select the preferred format:
Onsite: Take the exam at a secured Pearson VUE test centre. You are presented with a list of available Test Centres. You take the exam between 14:30-16:30 hrs. local time.
OnVUE: Take the exam online from your home or workplace.
