National Certification and UST/AST
This page contains specific information about the National Certification and UST/AST programs. It is the candidate’s responsibility to read and understand the applicable Exam Information Bulletin and associated exam-specific content outlines in their entirety, prior to registering for an exam. Bulletins can be found on ICC’s website.
You may now register for the following:
- Exams based on the 2009 International Codes/2008 National Electrical Code (for exams to be taken through the end of 2013) or
- Exams based on the 2012 International Codes/2011 National Electrical Code (for an exam taken on or after July 1, 2013)
Please read the National Certification Examination Information Bulletin prior to registering for an examination, and be sure you are choosing the version of the exam you wish to take.
The registration system for this testing program has recently been updated. You may be required to create a new account before scheduling your exam.
Examination Scheduling Information
Please VERIFY that your name and personal information are CORRECT. Contact Pearson VUE immediately to correct the spelling of your name or update your personal information if you notice any errors. It is very important that this information is correct, as it will appear as it was entered on the documentation provided to you after you have completed the exam, as well as on any reports to your licensing agency.
