North Carolina Medication Aide Testing
Step 1: Fill out an application
All candidates applying to take the Medication Aide Examination in North Carolina MUST complete an Application for Registration by Competency Examination form (119 KB pdf). The completed application, fees, and signed COPY of your training completion certificate must be submitted to:

Candidates must complete a paper application and send to Pearson VUE before they can schedule a test.
Step 2: Schedule a Test
Once they have been approved candidates need to contact the call center at Pearson VUE (online registration is not available). Test Center locations can be found on page 2 of the Candidate Handbook (290 KB pdf)
