NEHA
The National Environmental Health Association (NEHA) offers the Registered Environmental Health Specialist or Registered Sanitarian (REHS/RS) credential, the Certified Professional-Food Safety (CP-FS), and the Certified Installer of Onsite Wastewater Treatment Systems (CIOWTS) through its test vendor Professional Testing. (PTI).
These marks of distinction assist both employers and the credentialed individual. Employers can be confident that a credentialed employee has acquired the knowledge necessary to competently perform their duties. Credentialed individuals may find positions easier to obtain, and may increase their earnings.
