National Registry of Food Safety Professionals International Certified Food Safety Manager (ICFSM)

Please Note: the International Certified Food Safety Manager (ICFSM) examination has replaced the FSMCE exam. The ICFSM is a dual accreditation under ANSI/ISO/IEC 17024 and ANSI/CFP. The exam is based on the same competencies as the National Registry’s Food Safety Manager Certification exam and is Identical in content. The FSMCE vouchers are also accepted until the exam retirement date of May 31, 2013.


The National Registry of Food Safety Professional’s (NRFSP) International Certified Food Safety Manager (ICFSM) examination is a dual accreditation under ANSI/ISO/IEC 17024 and ANSI/CFP. The NRFSP ICFSM program is accredited by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) based on the ANSI/ISO/IEC 17024 standard of conformity – general requirement for bodies operating certification of persons.

The purpose of the International Certified Food Safety Management Program (ICFSM) is to identify individuals who demonstrate that their knowledge and skills meet specified food safety standards. National Registry’s ICFSM program has been developed to assess the knowledge and skills of entry-level food managers in the food industry. NRFSP offers the ICFSM program worldwide, enabling competent individuals to demonstrate that their knowledge and skills meet specific food safety management competencies.

Non-Disclosure and Code of Conduct Agreement

You will be required to affirm that you have read and accept the terms of the NRFSP Non-Disclosure and Code of Conduct Agreements onscreen before you will be able to schedule an appointment to take the International Certified Food Safety Manager Exam. Please take a moment to review the terms of the Non-Disclosure Agreement Adobe reader required (37 KB pdf) and the Code of Conduct Agreement Adobe reader required (52 KB pdf). If you choose not to accept these terms, you will not be allowed to schedule your exam.

Scheduling

Please recognize National Registry of Food Safety Professionals (NRFSP) as the client when registering. When creating your Pearson VUE web account, you will be asked to provide your NRFSP ID. This ID is created by Pearson VUE. If you are a first-time test-taker, you will not yet have a NRFSP ID and you should leave this field blank.

Be sure of your exam date when scheduling. A $20 cancellation/reschedule fee applies to all cancelled or rescheduled exam dates.
